How the funnel calculator works

Each stage is the previous stage multiplied by its conversion rate. Visitors needed = target customers ÷ (all four rates multiplied together). The biggest drop-off is the stage with the lowest rate, which is usually the cheapest place to improve.

The first rate comes from GA4. The other three only exist in your CRM, and only if leads keep their source and stage dates. That is what a CRM set up for reporting provides.

Questions people ask

What is a good funnel conversion rate?

It varies widely by industry, deal size and how each stage is defined. Compare your own funnel month to month rather than against outside benchmarks.

Where do I find these numbers?

Visitors and leads from GA4, and qualified, opportunity and customer counts from your CRM stages.

Which stage should I improve first?

Usually the one with the biggest drop-off, as long as the rate is measured consistently.
